Hey! Why did the radio stop?”I asked Dr. Old Man. “Maybe it is broken. ”he said and tried to fix it. “My
mum is in Hong Kong. Is she alright ? ”I said worriedly and wept. “She will be alright,” Kelly comforted me. “I
so regret that I have not been a good son, ”I said. “My grandpa will finish the gun soon and save your mum.
Don’t worry about it,” Kelly reasurred me.
At midnight, I heard some sounds so I got up to investiage them. I saw Dr. Old Man working. “What are you
doing?” I asked. “I am trying to finish the gun as fast as I can. I don’t want to see more and more people die, ”he
said. I watched him as he continued to work and I took a nap soon after.
At about six o’clock in the morning, he yelled,“ Hey children, you see. The gun is finished. ” Kelly and I
woke up immediately. “So I can save my mum and back home, right?” I asked happily. “But I still lack
something. It is a red gem. Nevertheless, it is not an ordinary red gem. It is also a button to close the space
between earth’s core and earth’s crust forever so that the nuclear man cannot come here. I have looked for it for
a long time but I can’t find it,” he explained. Suddenly, I remember that I had a red gem which I discovered on
the Great Wall. I threw all the things out of my knapsack. Finally, I retrieved the red gem from the bottom. The
red gem was so bright that it lit up the room. “Does it help? ”I asked. “OH! YES, it is the red gem. You are so
wonderful, ”he said.
At the end, we worked together and drove the nuclear man back to the earth’s core. We also locked the space
between the earth’s core and crust so they couldn’t come here again.

Mum I love you! I miss you so much and I will be a good son in the future, ”I said, and gave her a big,
big hug. “You are my good son. ”said mum. Although it was a bad experience, I have learnt the value of living.
Nothing lasts forever and especially your favorite people, your friends, your family and your company. We
should cherish all the things we have got now because someday they will leave you, I thought.
