my way out!” Da Shun shouted. “I’ll beat you!” shouted a man beside him. He raised the stick but Li Wang
caught it and beated him instead. Then he threw it in Da Shun’s face. “Ow!’ he sneered, Li Wang then hit him
again, “Ow!” he scowled. Li Wang took off as fast as he could. Da Shun and the man took off behind him.
“
Hurry!” cried the man. So Li Wang ran until he almost collapses. “No! A cliff!” There was a gigantic cliff right
in front of him! He stared behind, Da Shun and the man was just twenty meters away and they were coming
closer. He had to think. If he didn’t jump down, Da Shun and the man would take him to Emperor Qin and he
would be dead. But if he jumped down, he would die. He decided that he had to jump as he wouldn’t have to die
with fear! “Give up haven’t you?” shouted Da Shun. He was just five meters away when Li Wang jumped for
his life… And Da Shun and the man were laughing, as they watched him jumped down… and plunged into the
murky waters…
Li Wang could not open his eyes as they were filled with salty water. He could not find any air to breathe.
His body kept on sinking under the waters. After a few minutes, Li Wang managed to open his eyes despite the
painful feeling. He stared at the black waters below. He could not see anything in front. He needed oxygen, or
he was going to die. Just when he was going to give up, he suddenly saw a pair of eyes in the distance. “Is it my
imagination?” Li Wang wandered. He didn’t know what to do, “No!” Li Wang cried! It was swimming towards
him. Li Wang then screamed, but not only the waters vibrated, the whole cliff was shaking, like an earthquake.
Rocks were tumbling down. Li Wang then screamed again. This time, gigantic chunks plunged down! Li Wang
then tried to swim away but he was trapped! He then suddenly heard a roar…… then he fainted. But someone
was carrying him, saving him.
“
This was eerie?” thought Li Wang, “am I dead? Then he heard a laugh. “You are saved!” shouted a voice,
it was the baby dragon, but he was older, larger and more powerful! “Woo hoo!” Li Wang shouted, “I am
alive!!!!” Then he stared above. The man and Da Shun were outraged! They were mad and surprised at the same
time. “We would get you next time!” shouted Da Shun. “You won’t,” blurted Li Wang and then they took off to
freedom! However, they would have to encounter more dangers and disasters…
