Escape from the Great Wall

t was dark and freezing in ancient China. Even the strongest man would perish under the white snowflake
of white sheets. A body was resting on its torn sheets of clothes and was holding an old Chinese chest.
Beside him was left of his possessions. When the old man was sleeping, there were guards outside his
battered front door sent from an evil king, Qin Shi Huangdi. Without warning, the guards blasted in,
opened the battered doors and woke Li Wang up. “Come and build the Great Wall!” “No!” sighed Li Wang.
Beside him, his baby dragon howled for safety but Li Wang just spoke to him, “So long dragon, I have to leave
to build the Great Wall, for I may not see you again.” “Guards, pull him into the cage!” shouted the leader of the
guards, Da Shun. Li Wang tried to fight with all his might. He plunged onto Da Shun’s heart. Da Shun fell into a
pond. “You will see my TRUE strength,” sneered Da Shun. Then Da Shun kicked Li Wang in the head. Then
they were fighting violently.
The baby dragon was calling for help desperately but no help could be found. Secretly, the baby dragon
flew over to Da Shun’s back. He huffed with all his might with mouth full of fire. It stroke against his bottom.
“
Ahh” Da shun cried. He cut the baby dragon and it fell to his death, into the pond with blood spreading.
Because that happened, that pond turned bloody red. “You…” Li Wang put his head and hands onto the floor
and cried full of sorrows. “Why, you’ve killed my baby dragon! Now I am all alone!” He cried so loudly that all
the trees around him turned black. The sky turned black with long thunderstorms invading the sky, and the wind
was so strong that Li Wang’s house was blown away. “PUT HIM IN!” roared Da Shun. Three men shoved him
into the cage and carried him away to the Great Wall. Later, Da Shun decided to punish Li Wang even more. So,
they crushed the cage and forced him, to walk as far as the rising horizon.
Li Wang opened his eyes and plundered to the ground. “Hurry up and get up, we’ve arrived at our
destination!” ordered Da Shun. Li Wang had no more breath; he lay down unconsciously onto the soft luscious
grass. Since he was far from home, the weather was calm, smooth and warm. “All right!” sighed Da Shun,
ruining his thoughts, “let’s beat him up!”
Li Wang was pulled away by the executers. He struggled but the rope was as strong as iron. “If you escape,
the consequences will be like this!” told one of the executers. He moved his hands over his neck to look like he
was going to kill himself, “Now, would you run away?” “No..” sighed Li Wang. Li Wang was taken to an
execution area under the Great Wall. Li Wang’s neck was tied to a pole. “What are you doing?” Li Wang cried.

Da Shun changed his mind!” howled one of the executers. Da Shun ordered, “Executers, light the fire and burn
him to ash!” Li Wang cried, “I would rather die!” “But you are dying!” cried the executers. Li Wang tried hard
to avoid the burning flames that were already burning his feet. He tried his best blow the flames away from his
feet, but it was no use. The flames kept creeping towards him! “Stop”, a horrible voice cried. It was the emperor
Qin Shi Huangdi, “Let him down, for anyway he will face his death one day, go to build the Great Wall and
torture him later.”
When Li Wang saw the Great Wall, he thought it was the most beautiful sight in his history. People were
building, moving stone and wood up and putting it in his place. This made Li Wang realized he did not know
how to build. He stared around, just in case anyone noticed him. He decided to just watch. He tried picking up a
block but it was so heavy! He tried and tried but finally, he gave up. “This is so hard!” Li Wang cried. Not only
he was tired but he was hungry. But just then, he saw Da Shun and the other guards going to have lunch. He
scanned the area for any guards staring at him, but there was nobody. He decided to run, towards the jungles. He
kept running until finally, he was in the jungles, escaping. But suddenly he felt something lunged at him! It was
an evil, devilish tiger with billion sharp teeth! He tried defending himself from the tiger but it was impossible.
Just then he heard shouts! It was Da Shun, He suddenly found a hole, that could fit a person. When he entered,
he felt himself stuck! Only his head was sticking out! He tried all his might to get in but it was no hope. “There
you are, don’t you know that the emperor Qin owned this tiger?” teased Da Shun, “Now, I… Ow!” The tiger
was right behind him, biting Da Shun’s legs, “Don’t eat me! Noo! NOOO!” Then Li Wang sighed, not a sad
sigh but a relieved sigh. However, the tiger was then looking into Li Wang’s direction. The tiger pounced at Li
Wang’s head. Li Wang had only one weapon, his head! He knocked his head, defending him from the tiger’s
sharp claws. Suddenly, one of the claws lifts up and pulled Li Wang away from the hole. He decided to punch
the tiger, right into the mouth! This made the tiger bleed to death. Li Wang then ran. Suddenly he saw some
guards coming towards the tiger. Quickly, he ran back to the camp and hid behind a tent and wait until night.
Li Wang realized that he had to get away now. He howled pass the other tents as quick as he could.
Suddenly, he tripped over. “Ha!” Da Shun sneered; “NOW you will NEVER get away!” “How did you escape
