hese few years, people are still very interested in the Seven Wonders of the medieval world. They often
travel to them. In fact, they made a very severe damage to them, especially to Great Wall. People who
went to visit would leave the trash behind. Actually, the acid rain which came from polluted air eroded
it too.

Rarely known was that seven guardian trees had been looking after all the wonders. However,
-
made destructions kept repeating day by day in front of the eyes of Caesar, the guardian tree of
Great Wall. Very soon, he could not suppress his anger but to ask for help from his alien friends living on the
Green Peace Planet. As time went by, many aliens came to the earth and arrived at China at night because they
received the message from Caesar to bring Great Wall to their planet for about twenty years. ‘How can we bring
it to our planet?’ asked Special Agent Jacky. ‘Well…. Humans are sleeping now. Let us break it down and move
the bricks one by one back to our planet’, Commander Charlie ordered. ‘Good idea! We should act now, I don’t
want the humans to continue to destroy it.’ responded Jacky. ‘OK!’ other aliens agreed.
T
One, two, one, two,’ repeated the aliens. Soon, they broke the Great Wall into pieces of bricks and moved
them one by one back to their planet. After they finished their work, they went home by spaceship and rebuilt it
again.
Later on, a history student called Angelina came to visit the Great Wall. She was only eighteen years old
but she was tempted in the Seven Wonders and wanted to visit them all. However, she could not find it. She felt
confused and wanted to know what had happened. So she asked the hawkers and villagers nearby but no one
could tell her a reason. Even reporters from different provinces had been notified and were flooding in.
Suddenly, a tree appeared in front of Angelina after a dazzling shine. ‘Hello, my name is Caesar. What is your
name?’ asked the tree abruptly. ‘Em…my…my name is Angelina.’ she responded surprisingly. ‘Don’t worry,
Angelina. I am a guardian tree. I can tell you what have happened.’ said Caesar, smiling. ‘OK, just tell us what
you know.’
So, Caesar told Angelina and the crowd that a group of aliens broke the Great Wall and moved it away.
Angelina didn’t believe at the first sight. However, she started to nod her head gradually in agreement. ‘It’s
because the people destroyed it seriously. So, the aliens wanted to save it by moving it to their planet.’ said
Caesar, the guardian tree. ’Oh! That’s not fair for me. I have never destroyed but tried my best to protect it.
From now on, I can’t take pictures with that beautiful Great Wall.’ cried Angelina sadly. The people were
shocked and sad too.
Don’t be sad. We can still see Great Wall in some historical books. This is a good time to learn. We
should cherish the things that we have and not to do anything that would make us regret.’ said Caesar. ‘You are
right but I just hope to see the Great Wall on earth again.’ said a pedestrian. ‘It is still possible; just remember
everything happens for a reason.’
Time ran past silently. The human behavior had improved. They cleared the trash around and even learnt
to recycle. Factories emitted less toxic gas which improved air pollution and thus there was less acid rain. Some
students planted more trees in the garden too. It had been already twenty years after the Great Wall was made to
disappear by the aliens. The aliens decided to deliver the Great Wall back to the earth again with Caesar’s
agreement. Just as in the past, the humans were sleeping when the aliens moved the bricks down to the earth
piece by piece at night. The next day, Angelina, who was now an archaeologist, the first time, saw the Great
Wall appearing in front of her. She was astonished and speechless. People started to spread the good news over
the whole country. Everyone was excited about that. Besides, Caesar was pleased and satisfied too. Ever since
then, they had been cherishing and protecting it carefully forever.
