story about her and her husband.

broadcast announced.
That’s us. Come on.” said Colin excitedly.
What on earth is this?” said Tiffany as she wondered around the unfamiliar environment.
The huge stadium was before them, known as the Bird’s Nest. The metal strips formed a shell that curved
around the stadium which could hold 91,000 people. The unique design attracted her attention as shop owners
shouted, promoting their souvenir products.
Afterwards, she saw a cuboid that was white blended with blue. It had some areas dented and some areas
that bulged out. “That’s the Water Cube. It is where the Olympic swimming events were held. Half of it is now
a water park. Cool right?” explained Colin. Tiffany gazed in amazement. “If it was in 259-210BC, this would
have been made out of bricks and they would use the water from Huang He for the water in the underground
thing.” said Tiffany.
Any chance that this looks like where your husband worked?” asked Colin.
No, there was none such thing as this back then.” Tiffany sighed as she grasped onto her handkerchief,
hoping that she will find her husband soon.
Then, they arrived at their next destination, the Forbidden City. It had golden banners with significant
Chinese characters written in Chinese calligraphy. It gave a strong, powerful feeling showing how important the
Forbidden City was. The fragile furniture made of wood was protected by the red barriers. The walls had
beautiful paintings with dragons and phoenixes. Each brush made it look like if the dragons were alive, facing
their fierce sharp teeth at her, swinging its tail as a gust of wind blew strongly, the scales shimmering brightly
whilst its eyes expressed the power of a dragon. The Emperor’s chair had glimmering golden thread sewed on
carefully and wood cautiously carved into shapes of dragons painted gold. “Want a drink? It’s quite hot” asked
Colin, and he darted towards the drinks stall. When Tiffany took her handkerchief out, she realised that one of
the butterflies on her handkerchief disappeared. She paused for a while. Where could it be? It couldn’t have just
disappeared. So she folded it up unwillingly and slipped it back into her sleeve in her dress.
Next, Colin brought Tiffany to one of the wonders of the world, the Great Wall. When they got there, they
were at the bottom of the 5000 miles long, around 2000 year old wall. Tiffany gasped in disbelief, before her
eyes was the finished Great Wall. “This is it! It’s here! I recognise it! They claimed my husband died here.”
Tiffany said enthusiastically. She quickly took out her handkerchief. The butterfly came back! It was there like
before. She smiled sweetly like the gorgeous flowers in the garden. The Great Wall was so different. It was now
a finished product but with broken and fallen bricks and there was a path added between the walls so that
tourists could climb the Great Wall. Tiffany went exploring on the Great Wall. The Great wall was so much
longer and was surrounded by green trees and lush mountains. Bricks were old and had a brown dirty colour.
Some bricks fell off and there were holes in the walls. She walked on the path since she was so curious about the
Great Wall but at the same time hated it because her husband died there.
But as the sun set, she was lost. She couldn’t find Colin. She was there all by herself. She took out her
handkerchief wishing that her husband would protect her but one of the butterflies disappeared again. “How is
this possible? Where’s Colin?” she exclaimed. Tourists stared at her in surprise. She used her precious
handkerchief to wipe off the tears that dripped down her pink cheeks as she walked down the endless path of the
Great Wall. It was getting darker and darker. She could hear the trees creaking and the leaves rustling. The wind
blew her silky hair as she fell onto the ground. She felt insecure. She was worried in case no one would find her.
