crowds and headed to the palace beside the Great Wall. Four gallant dragons were built along the two sides on
the road to the palace. The palace looked like as though it was made of gold! The golden walls made me dizzy.
When I was feasting my eyes on the glorious palace, the soldier suddenly knelt on the ground. Sitting in front of
me was the Emperor Qin Shi Huang, he had a long beard and a pair of beady ears. I stammered in a shaking
voice, “Are you, are you……the Emperor Qin Shi Huang?”
He replied, “Of course I am. I am the emperor of this world!” He continued, “I am sure you appreciated
my masterpiece, do you?” And he pointed at the
Great Wall. I looked at the gloomy faces of the workers and said, “Well, it is absolutely a masterpiece but……”
He leaned forward and asked, “But what?”
Unfortunately, I was too careless to discover that anger was masking his face. I continued, “Yet,
building too many palaces and roads will expedite the termination of your dynasty. Therefore, I advise……”
“
Stop!” Emperor Qin Shi Huang roared. He was furious and his eyes were fiery red. I whispered,
“
What will he do to me? Will he execute me?
For a split of second, a soldier leapt forward to me. In a jiffy, I crouched down, escaping from his
deadly grip briskly.
“
Take him!” Emperor Qin Shi Huang bellowed and thousands of soldiers ran after me. I ran to my
supersonic motorcycle! The engine growled and the motorcycle started to dash forward. Numerous riders were
chasing after me, the galloping noise of horse and clamorous noise filled my ears. An arrow whooshed past my
left ear and I turned back. To my horror, millions, billions and zillions of arrows were flying towards me! I
pulled the handle desperately and it charged forward in full speed on the Great Wall from north to south.
Everything became a blur, leaving the riders in my dust. All of a sudden, the surroundings became
pitch-black and I decelerated the motorcycle slowly. I turned around. Where were the horses? Where were the
soldiers? Instead, what greeted me was thunderous applause. I came back from the past and time travelled
through the Great Wall!
