Aphrodite and Hera worked individually at first .Aphrodite took the responsibility to write a letter to the
government to advise them to improve relationships between countries and ask for permission to let her find
people to repair the Great Wall. At the same time Hera visited millions of Chinese families, and made up a story
that the government was going to demolish The Great Wall since it was in poor condition .The citizens knew the
consequences very well if the Great Wall disappeared. It will certainly affect the number of tourists and hence
their income .The Chinese volunteered to join the repair work.

Hera, how is the repair work going?” Aphrodite asked Hera that evening.

It’s running well. We will start tomorrow. Have you got permission yet?”
Hera answered, "Of course. I’ve talked with the president and given him advice on how to handle this
matter. He agreed to support us.”
Aphrodite smile gently.” Great! We’ve solved the two main problems .Now we just need to see if the Chinese
people really want to keep the Great Wall. The heart and determination are the most important,” Hera replied.

I hope it will touch them,” Aphrodite sighed.” I hope Apollo’s vision will be proved wrong will change.”
Hera looked up at the heavens willing the Gods to respond.

Zeus, “Apollo called and frowned. ‘I think I have seen something different about the future of The Great
Wall." Zeus smiled and nodded, ’It’s okay .Let them go on.
The next day, Aphrodite and Hera woke up late. They dressed themselves fast and go to their destination
as quickly as they could.

Hera what’s that? The Great Wall is …..is moving?" Aphrodite stuttered.

Of course not .They are people, Aphrodite,’ Hera answered smiling. She didn’t expect the families would
go to the Great Wall to do the repair work voluntarily. They were astonished but pleased at the same time.
Seeing the people helping each other to finish a work, changing from selfish businessmen into helpful citizens,
both Aphrodite and Hera felt contented. They were sure that the prediction of Apollo would be proven
wrong .Therefore; they left people concentrating on their work and flew back to the sky secretly.

There is no reason for the Great Wall to collapse anymore!" Hera shouted out loudly in front of Zeus.
Hera and Aphrodite stared at him resolutely. Zeus only smiled again and said nothing. Apollo stood up and
said calmly, ’My prediction has been changed. The Great Wall will not befall down.”
After listening to this both of the goddesses felt relieved. "However," Zeus stated suddenly with serious tone.

Hera crossed her arms and ignored his censure. "Therefore, punishment must be given.’ Hera and
Aphrodite shocked and started becoming nervous, looking around, glancing at Poseidon, Hades and other Gods.

Listen! Both of you should ….. ’Hera and Aphrodite were so scared that they closed their eyes, as well as
covered their ears. '"Stop working for two months!" There was merely the breathing sound of the Gods.
