Alien Invasion

illions of years from life as we know it now, an invasion fleet of technologically advanced
spaceships made by a species of aliens with blue skin and red eyes known as ‘The Chiss’ entered
our galaxy. The fleet was commanded by the brilliant mastermind Grand Admiral Thrawn. The
fleet left their home land to attempt to capture the Great Wall Of China. As they neared the Great
Wall, the gunners aboard Thrawn’s flagship the ‘Chimera’ swiveled the laser turrets and targeted the Great Wall.
Suddenly the radio on the Great Wall crackled and came to life. “This is Admiral Thrawn, surrender or be
destroyed. I repeat, surrender or be destroyed!” Hearing this, the Emperor was enraged that the red eyed
mongrel leading the charge dared to challenge him this way. He swore and ground out between clenched teeth
all gunners to their stations and await my command to fire the lasers!” As the fleet came within range the
Emperor calmly gave the command “fire”. Everyone was surprised how calm their Emperor was. On the bridge
of the Chimera, Thrawn watched as the lasers streaked towards them and since he knew that the lasers wouldn’t
do much damage, he ordered the gunners to pelt the enemy with a deadly barrage of laser fire.

Fighters were launched from the Chimera’s cargo bay and sped towards the Great Wall Of China as the
Chimera laid down cover fire as a distraction.
When the emperor realized that their attack hadn’t done much damage, his expression changed from that of
gloating triumph to a snarl of pure hatred. The Chiss star fighters weaved expertly along the sides of the Great
wall raking it with their powerful cannons. Abruptly the fighters looped up and scattered just as a powerful blast
from the wall’s ion cannon tore through the space they’d just vacated.
The fighters came into orbit just as three larger warships including the Chimera, the Malevolence and the
Executor rocketed downwards to join the fray tearing ten massive gashes upon specific places of the walls with
missiles and torpedoes.
When the warships came back into orbit, ten automatic star fighters flew towards and eventually
disappeared into the smoking holes. Each ship was carrying a dangerous bomb that would release a deadly
radiation wave that would expand through the walls and kill any living being within the wall on the ships
underside. A grim silence descended as the minutes slowly ticked by without any sign of results. Suddenly,
explosions sounded from within the Great Wall and the gunners stopped firing when the resulting radiation
wave killed them.
Thrawn himself led the team afterward to search for survivors when they stumbled upon the emperor who
was out of range at the time the bomb went off, lying unconscious amid the carnage. They took him back and
put him in a holding cell on the Chimera for interrogating. The moment the Emperor woke up he screamed,
leave me alone you accursed demon, damn you!” Grand Admiral Thrawn persisted for another hour before
deciding to leave the prisoner alone for the rest of the day and also ordered that the ten guards who were
assigned to the cell were not to talk with the prisoner.
The next day when Thrawn once again arrived to interrogate the Emperor, Thrawn found that the prisoner
had escaped and that one of the fastest shuttles stored in the hangar bay had left. “How did this happen?” he
demanded quietly, his voice deadly “how could this happen?” By then his voice had risen to a bellow that made
the guards on duty quiver in fear. Thrawn stalked towards the lead guard and seized him by the collar and flung
him across the room where he crashed into the wall, breaking his spine. Seeing this, one of the guards
immediately spoke up, “It wasn’t my fault sir, they opened up the cell when I wasn’t looking a-”. “Enough,”
Thrawn stated coldly and shot the man. The helpless man crumpled silently to the floor and passed into the void.
When Thrawn arrived at the bridge he barked, “set course for Jupiter immediately… track and intercept all
of the signals. The escaping ship is transmitting.”
When they entered the system a fleet belonging to the Emperor greeted them with volleys of blaster fire.
Return fire and launch the proton torpedoes!” Thrawn ordered. It turned out that fifteen torpedoes found their
mark while three others exploded harmlessly against a passing asteroid. Suddenly the Chimera was rocked by a
powerful blast from behind as seven large warships called Fireklins dropped into orbit behind Thrawn’s fleet
and opened fire. Seeing this the Chimera’s gunners aimed their weapons and targeted the fleet as some others
operated the tracker beams to reel the fireklins in. As the admiral predicted, the crew of the fireklins got out
immediately and became easy targets for Thrawn’s snipers to pick off at their leisure. After making sure there
was no living beings aboard Thrawn kept the ships for himself.
