The Great Wall

oyce! I have something awesome to tell you!” Hannah exclaimed.
Then Joyce, who was thirteen, looked up to Hannah and asked, “What? What is it?”
“
Did you know there is something mysterious about the Great Wall of China?” Hannah asked.
“
Cool! Let’s go and visit the Great Wall, Hannah.” Joyce suggested.
“
It’s pretty dangerous you know. Nobody is allowed to go inside the Great Wall.” Hannah
suddenly spoke.
“

Why can’t anybody go?” Asked Joyce with a frown.
“
I don’t know.”
“
Then let’s go to the Great Wall and find out why.”
“
Ok, then. Since we have something special for each of us, I think we can beat up the danger.” Hannah said.
Hannah, Joyce, and their little sisters, Grace and Esther lived on a high mountain not very far from the
Great Wall. They lived by themselves because their parents died right after Ester was born. They lived in an old,
woody house in the middle of a foggy, dry land. Before their mother died, she handed each daughter a necklace.
The necklace had a string and heart attached on. The necklace would glow if they were near danger. Also, each
one of them hand a “special” gifting. Hannah had a map in her pocket and anything she thought about would
appear on the map. Joyce had a bubble wand. If she blows it, the little bubble wand would turn into an enormous
bubble so that they could travel inside the bubble. Grace, the third sister was really good at fighting and would
always win. Esther always had endless supply of food inside her huge pocket. When she was hungry, she would
take out something and eat it.
“
Really? We’re going to the Great Wall?” Grace was so excited. Hannah had told Grace and Esther that
they were going to the Great Wall. They would be gone for only a day.
The next sunny morning, they were ready to set off to the Great Wall. Joyce took out her bubble wand. She
softly blew and blew. Soon it became a gigantic bubble. Then a door appeared on the bubble. One by one, they
stepped in the bubble. Then it started to float high up in the air. They felt as if they were in an invisible airplane.
Soon they began to see the Great Wall.
“
Wow!!! Look at that gigantic wall!” Grace pointed out. Soon the bubble started to land on the ground.
Pop! The bubble popped and it disappeared into the thin air.
They started to walk until they saw stairs climbing up each side of the Great Wall. The stairs were about
three meters tall and were very old. The four sisters started to climb back up the wooden stairs. When they were
at the top of the Great Wall, they saw a long path on each side. Hannah took out her map of the Great Wall and
said, “Guys, the map shows that if you keep going down the path, you’ll find something.”
So, they walked on the long path until they saw a massive, wooden house-looking place.
“
What is that?” questions Joyce.
“
I think it is a secret house to a secret passage way!” Hannah uttered.
They opened the creaking, dusty door and stepped inside. It was shady, empty, and chilly.
“
This is a bit freaky.” Esther whispered as she clutched Hannah’s arm.
As they were walking down the stairs, their necklaces began to glow.
“
Oh, no! I think we’re near danger!” Grace whispered.
Suddenly, they heard a grinding noise from behind.
They spotted a blazing light in front of them. The bright light splashed and turned into a small girl. The girl
had a black mask with long black hair, sharp, pointy nails, and with a spiky sword. She slowly came toward the
four sisters and shouted, “Who said you can come inside the Great Wall?!”
Hannah replied, “We didn’t mean to come and brother you. We just wanted to know why nobody is allowed
inside the Great Wall. By the way, who are you?”
“
I am the one and only person who lives inside the Great Wall and I’m going to kill you because nobody is
allowed to come inside here!” The little girl shouted.
“
Ahhhhh!” The four girls screamed. Grace had to do something so; she started to run towards the girl. All
of a sudden, SLAM!! Grace punched the girl’s face, kicked her legs, and she grabbed the girl’s hair and pulled.
The little girl pulled Grace’s hair, too. Rapidly, the little girl snapped her fingers. Meanwhile, the entire black
mask’s power went inside the little girl’s body.
“
Ha ha!” the girl yelled to them. Then Hannah and Joyce joined the fight because Grace was too tired.
Esther was too young to fight so she ate her food while the little girl and the sisters were fighting. Grace,
Hannah, and Joyce became extremely tired after fighting for half an hour.
