im was a son of an emperor. However, he was not going to be an emperor after his father died. He was
helping his brother Yen with his ability. Why was Tim chosen? It’s because he had a big secret.

n that day, Tim and Yen were walking along the street while they were eating their breakfast.
…
m…! What’s your name and why do you keep on following me?’ Yen asked angrily.” I’m your
her, Tim. Of course I need to help you,” he answered. “Ha…a! Don’t you know my father is an
emperor! Don’t be silly, you lie,” Yen shouted at Tim. All the people looked at that egomania and a shabby boy.
He ignored them and went back to the palace with his embarrassment.

Yen was shocked at Tim because the soldiers didn’t stop Tim. Yen asked them why. They answered, “The
emperor allows him, my prince.” Yen could not believe his father allowed Tim to enter the palace. Yen grabbed
Tim’s left hand and brought him in front of the emperor. “Father, he is a liar. Don’t be cheated by him!” Yen
said it madly. “Stay calm, my dear boy. Tim is helping you to inherit my kingdom,” the emperor explained. Yen
was very confused. How can Tim help him? At that time, Tim threw a heavy sword to Yen and took one for
himself. Yen quickly got what he meant and walked to the garden.
Yen sprinted towards Tim at full speed. Although he could defend the counterattack of Tim, he lost his
balance and bit the dust. Yen’s second charge was even more unsuccessful, for Tim’s sword penetrated one of
Yen’s legs. The pain made him faint and dizzy, but he set his teeth and aimed a blow wildly back at Tim. At the
last charge, Yen could not continue and he became tired. He was so tired that he didn’t realize a silver sword
pointed at his throat. “You lost,” Tim said. “I concede it and your identity,” Yen begged. “What I want to be is
to be your teacher,” Tim explained and he put down his sword. “After your bath, come here again.” Yen nodded.
Tim asked Yen, “Do you know why your grandfather and father were very successful?” “Because they are good
at fighting,” Yen answered. “Wrong! It’s because they all have the lucky star,” Tim sighed. Yen didn’t know
what Tim was talking about, but he just knew that he must take it after Tim trained him. Although Yen was
confused and he knew Tim really wanted to help him because he tried hard to teach him.
After a few months, Yen was stronger than before. He was very patient and polite. His fencing was more
skillful than before. He got on well with Tim. They decided to set off for the lucky star. The nearest star was in
Africa. However, it’s not easy for them to get there. The emperor gave them a big boat and enough food for the
long journey. They started their journey.
The wind blew hard, the cloud was as black as the ink and the rain was as heavy as the waterfall. The boat
swayed fiercely. Tim and Yen scooped the water out of the boat because it would sink down. They waited for
the sun to rise up but they had waited for two days. They were very tired and wet. Luckily, the sun rose up. The
storm was over. They went to bed. They slept comfortably for a few hours, but it wasn’t long. Yen was woken
by some noise. He went out of the bed and looked around the boat. He saw lots of pirates on it. “Ha! There is
lots of food!” one of the pirates said. “Yeah! We won’t be hungry,” another pirate said. Yen opened the door
and rushed outside. Without any words, they attacked Yen. Yen wasn’t scared. He avoided the weapons and
attacked them one by one. After a few minutes, they went away with their pain. A group of ships attacked us at
once. Lots of cannons were fired. Tim was still sleeping in the bed. Yen could not leave his friend. Boom! He
fought with pirates who swam from the ship. Boom! The cannon hit the room where he was sleeping.
Everything ended. Yen’s eyes were red, as he could not control them. His heart was broken. He knelt down,
threw his sword. He cried. The pirates caught him and made him a slave. He got the last sight of it and went
with the pirates.
After a few weeks, marvel happened. Yen was sweeping the ship when he heard some noises. The pirates
shouted for help. Yen opened the door and saw a little boy in something red. No, it’s fire. A fire dragon laid on
him. Yen got closer and looked at him in detail. It was Tim. He could not believe it. He stepped out of the door.
Tim sighed, ‘You, stupid boy! Quick! No time for standing around.’ The fire dragon stretched its wings. Tim
grabbed Yen’s left hand and flew away. Yen felt pain. “This is how painful I felt last time,” Tim said. They
laughed happily in the sky.
They arrived in Africa Tim looked exhausted but Yen felt amazed by the blue sky. “Let’s go across the river.
I am the son of fire so please….” Tim slept on the sand. Yen was proud of him. He carried Tim and crossed the
river at once. The stream was big and quick. Yen, like an ant crossed it slowly. However, an alligator bit him.
He fell down. When Yen fell in the river, he disappeared.
Yen found a note. He read it, “The stream is the way to my home. The star is made from the stream too. Turn
back.” Yen smiled and gave a wink to the sky.
After Yen became the emperor, he built The Great Wall because he wanted Tim to see it.
