Wall there…

Long time ago, before there was a Great Wall, China was divided into small towns and each town
their own walls with hidden entrances to protect the citizens. However, there was a sly dragon. It
wanted to eat up all those citizens and came up with a cruel, ruthless plan.

It knew a little bit of magic, so he made himself stretch longer and longer. Next, he blockaded the exits in
the walls of the towns and made the walls join his body to form a wall so long that it wrapped around the entire
country China. The citizens were trapped completely. They tried digging tunnels but the dragon’s magic had
done its work: the dragon covered the ground with its own hard scales and no matter how they dug or drilled in
it, it didn’t even make the slightest crack nor did it make a single mark. And one by one, the citizens disappeared
into the dragon’s stomach.
Days passed by, and the citizen were almost driven mad and were losing hope. Nevertheless, a smart
chemist found a clever way to fool and kill the dragon in order to regain their freedom and save the citizen from
being eaten. He directed the citizens, “In order to kill the dragon, you must listen to my instructions. First, I need
you to find a few fat sheep and fed it with the poisonous plants I have collected, there will be the leaves of the
White Sanicles and the berries of White Baneberry. After the sheep eat those plants, they will be extremely
poisonous. Finally, led the sheep into the wide fields near the dragon and leave the sheep there alone. Is this
clear?” The citizens quickly nodded and did as they’re told. As the chemist expected, the dragon noticed the
sheep instantly. It hissed with excitement and drool dripped from its broad mouth. The next second, it was
lunging at the poisoned sheep and swallowing them hungrily. After gobbling the sheep up, it smacked its lips
and was preparing to take a nap when the poisons started to work. The sheep was digested and the plants had
turned into acid. The acid immediately started to burn holes in the dragon’s scaly body. With the feeling of
regret and anger, the dragon gave one last, long, terrible shriek of agony and fell to the ground with a loud
“
thud”
The dragon lied still and never moved again.
The citizens heard the dragon’s scream of pain and cheered, “Hurray! Three cheers for our hero chemist!”
They quickly dashed back to the wall to check on the dragon that was lying, as still as a statue on the wall which
was wrapped around China and saw the acid had burnt a dozen of holes in the fallen dragon’s scaly, hard body.
Their plan had been a success. They have regained their freedom to travel in and out of China and was no longer
being trapped or eaten. All was fine.
