In the year 2031, there was an incident that made had good things and bad things for China. An

Two years after, in 2033, a team of archaeologists from New York City said they wanted to excavate the
land opposite The Great Wall. The team of archaeologists said as the land was occupied by The Great Wall and
land, now it was easier now to excavate.
Soon, five months later, great news occurred. The team of archaeologists found the tomb and mummy of a
wealthy man of the Shang Dynasty. His name was Shi Liu and his mummy was well preserved as the conditions
were perfect. The archaeologists brought Shi Liu’s mummy back for analysis in a research institute in Boston
and as soon as they gave it to them, they continued digging…
No luck happened for three months and soon, the team of archaeologists were going to give up as a result of
their excavation permits expiring.
Then, one and a half months before their permits expired, which was the last day the team wanted to dig and
rest in Beijing and then go back to New York City, their luck had been high. When they scanned in a hole they
dug, they found a tomb of two hectares, belonging to Emperor Qin Shi Yan of Qin Dynasty, but sadly, the team
did not have enough time to dig the whole tomb but what they found was treasure, statues of terra-cotta clay
painted red, jade and gold. The team was happy but sad to leave the tomb so the team’s leader, Mike John
Litchell, pleaded the Chinese government to continue excavating the site. Eventually, the Chinese government
continued excavating when the team of archaeologists went back to New York City.
Today, in 2040, the mummy of Shi Liu was donated to a museum in New Jersey, a state of The United
States of America, and the tomb of two hectares, belonging to Emperor Qin Shi Yan with his own mummy is
now left in Beijing as an tourism site and the site is called “Qinshiyanwangditangmu” or Qin Shi Yan’s Tomb in
English.
Now, archaeologists are interested more in The Great Wall and all of them hope again in the future that The
Great Wall of China reveal another of its secrets, but for now, the secrets may be still hidden, waiting for more
archaeologists to discover but for now, Qin Shi Yan’s Tomb is making tourists flock by the millions, people
from Sydney to New York City, from London to Rio De Janeiro come to Beijing just to see the tomb and it is
causing a rise in China’s growth.
