The Great Wall of China

century AD, Chinese people were very poor. They all worked for the Great Wall of China because
the king at that time all the citizens slaves for building the wall. Although the Great Wall of China was built
in such a situation, many thought it was the most amazing thing ever made. It is even recorded as the 7
th
wonder of the world! The Great Wall of China is for protecting China from the enemies from north
attacking them. But behind that actually has a very different story…
I
Once upon a time, there was a little girl called Magic. This girl had a super power, she could possess
magical powers when she uttered magic words. Magic’s father died when she was young and her mother was
already 79 years old. Her mother wanted to marry another man but she exclaimed, “I don’t want a stepfather! I
can take care of myself!”
She definitely did not want a stepfather; her mind told her that it would be a disaster if she had one.
Magic’s mother married another man anyway, without even thinking about her opinion. Now her mind is
really buzzing her with absurd things that her stepfather might do. She was right, her father treated her so badly
that she wanted to escape, but she was trapped in the small cottage in the woods. She practiced her magical
skills all the time and her plan was to use her magic powers to beat her father oppose him. She hated him so
much, every time she disobeyed his orders.
The day finally came, she found out her stepfather was an enemy from the northern border. Her stepfather
killed her very own mother. She decided this madness should end and she planned to kill her horrendous and
horrible stepfather. At the same time Magic was already 28 years old. She decided to get married soon and work
together to kill her stepfather.
In a fine morning, when the sun barely appeared at the side of the seemingly endless sea, Magic and her
husband were ready. They started to sneak into her stepfather’s room and plotted to kill him. But just at that
moment he woke up, and looking closely, he was actually a werewolf! Both her husband and she were terrified,
but Magic used her spectacular magic powers to freeze the werewolf, grabbed a dagger and killed him. His
blood quickly came flooding off his body. It was such a horrifying scene…
Magic and her husband did not want these things to happen again, causing serious consequences, so they
decided to build a wall in between north and south, to protect China from being attacked. At the time, Magic
was already 56 years old when these happened and her husband was only 28. Magic was very weak now and
then; she even got cancer at that time. She told to her husband hesitantly, “take care of it on your own, I wish
you… you good luck…”without even finishing her own sentence, she fainted.
Her husband did as he had been told, he built the wall all the way across china, and the most wonderful
thing ever built. It was the Great Wall of China, and Magic’s husband was actually the tremendous and
marvelous Qin Shi Huang!
