But where are we going to find the stones?” asked Ivy. “Maybe, we can try something else…” suggested
Alison.
They went back to the Great Wall and kept looking for people who needed help. After a while of looking
around, they saw an old lady carrying heavy bags.
Do you need a little help with the bags?” asked Alison politely. “Oh, yes!” the lady replied.

Meanwhile, the terracotta soldiers were spying on them. “They don’t seem that bad, they’re helping others,”
one said.
Yes, they are good. But some of the humans aren’t.” said the terracotta General. “ Call them here, we need
to talk.”

The sky suddenly turned black, just like before. “I think we’re going to see the soldiers again,” Alison said.
Suddenly, the terracotta soldiers were before them. The terracotta General said,
We know you are good people. But some of your people are ruining the Great Wall. We must punish
them.”
Then it began to rain heavily with lightning. In a distance, some people looked very frightened. Ivy guessed
they were the bad people who were stealing stones. Then the rain storm became a tornado! The tornado seemed
to have a mind of its own. It followed the bad people everywhere and strangely nothing else was affected. After
a while of chasing, the tornado twirled the bad people up and carried them away.
The terracotta soldiers appeared again and the General said, “The bad people will end up in the dump, they
will never show their faces here again.”
Alison said, “So you have been living inside the Great Wall protecting it?”
Yes, we are the Guardians of the Great Wall. We will be here until all the people learn to love it.”

The three girls went back to their hotel and thought of what just happened.
That was quite some adventure. All the fortune messages came true!” exclaimed Ivy and Olivia. “We’d
better tell people to protect the Great Wall and other national monuments. We’ve had enough adventures for our
trip!” said Alison. The three girls giggled.
