Great Wall.
Karim Chan, Poetry: Group 1, Harrow International School Hong Kong
reat Wall, I’m the Great Wall.
I’m just like a dragon rolling on the mountain, so I never fall.
I always get hurt because there were so many wars.
Great Wall, I’m the Great Wall.
I have watch towers that look like jaws.
So when enemies came and I was in danger, the soldiers put a signal fire to call,
Then in the palace the King saw.
He sent to the watch tower more soldiers and more swords.
Great Wall, I’m the Great Wall.
I am used to defend China after all!
Over two thousands years I stand up so tall and I roar.
