“
The weapon is actually pretty small, our scientist analyzed it and it is pretty simple. It is a powerful substance
taken from a special jewel that produces a powerful magnetic field that will fry all the electronic devices. In fact,
I ordered my guards to try the new EMP rounds prototype made from this jewel on you,” said Abbott as they
walked to a very hi-tech looking computer.
Abbott began, ”I know you guys may not know how I am going to use it against the world. Well, every
country has missiles interceptors so instead of firing a nuclear missile; I am going to distribute an EMP warhead
to every country capable of shooting down my nuclear missiles! And then I am going the fire the nuclear missile
to all around the world!”
John blurted out again” why would you want to do that? You would die too!”
Abbott answered” See john, the world is too dirty with evil things.” Abbott breathed in a deep breath and
continued. “Many villains tried to destroy the world with their own reasons. We stopped them but after a while,
we stopped too many of them and we realized that there are going to be more. It is going to be easier to destroy
it that keep on helping it.” Before John can ask more, Abbott had been absorbed in the computer already. John
signaled Gary to disarm the nuclear missile and tackle Abbott and himself handling the incoming guards. John
pretended to vomit, General Abbott turned over to see what was going on. At a fraction of a second, Gary
tackled Abbott to the ground and pinned his arms and legs. Gary knew he had to deactivate the EMP bombs, but
he couldn’t go anywhere with Abbott pinned, so he stunned him with his Taser and ran to the computer. John
tried to barricade the door using the weapons display rack but the weapons on it were too heavy. John grabbed a
menace looking EMP mine and threw the other weapons onto the ground and push the rack to the door.
It was too late. The EMP warheads had detonated, but there was a string of hope. John remembered
Abbott said that the EMP warhead was harmless but what’s behind it was the nuclear missiles. John shouted to
Gary “try to override the control system and deactivate the missiles!”
Gary shouted Okay and replied, ”I can’t override it but there is still one way. We destroy the coolers so
the whole thing will collapse.” Looking at John’s horror-struck face, he continued,” but there seems to have an
emergency protocol that the nuclear warhead will disconnect with the missile so it won’t detonate.”
Before john could say ’let’s do it’, guards are pouring in already; John threw the EMP mine and leave it
sliding on the ground. Half a second later, the mine detonated and twelve full armored guards collapsed on the
ground. Gary screamed” Done, let’s go, we have two minutes!”
They ran at their fastest speed to the exit, John threw a last look at General Abbott, a pity look in his
eyes; John made his decision, he was going away with him. He ran to Abbott, carried him with strength he never
thought he could have. He joined Gary and escaped just in time. John looked back. An explosion erupted inside
the great wall of two kilometers and a wall of blue flame ignited. It was all over.
John went back to his normal life. Although he had inspections from the ministry of defense but they
were all thrilled at the news of General Abbott’s treachery and rewarded him a medal and made him signed an
act than he will never respond to any interviews.
As for Gary, he never signed the silence act so he wrote a book, and of course, it was the more creative
version. His gadgets had a good business due to the book.
John thought it was all over until he received a letter from S.O.D.C. saying that they promised there will
be no more evil agents like Abbott and they sentenced General Abbott for a life sentence in a private cell. John
climbed in his car and went to work.
