barbarian’s head fell onto the ground and his body fell backwards with a heavy thud. The others were stunned
by his skill and started retreating. Wang fought off his attacker courageously; he finished the three off, but more
just appeared. An archer outside was aiming at Wang, preparing to shoot him. Josh saw this and tackled him
but all he got was air. He felt helpless as he saw the archer’s hand letting go of the bow string, and death flew
towards Wang.
Josh woke up and found himself outside of the tower. He quickly observed that the tower had totally
collapsed. He tried to remember what happened before, but couldn’t. All he remembered was the arrow being
released by the archer, killing Wang. He was in a dilemma; he did not know what happened and what to do. A
part of him wanted some crazy old dude to appear from nowhere to explain to him what he experienced and go
back to save the murdered officer. Another part of him wanted to go home and forget what happened. Josh
started going back towards his car. It was an hour-long trek, but at least he was one piece. He called his
wife:”Hey darling, I am sorry what happen earlier this morning, but I am coming back right now. I’ll tell you
what happened when I get back.”
Wang lay on the ground against the wall in his room. Before he died, he saw a man dressed in strange
clothing, jumping toward his killer, but the man, like air, fell through him. His dying wish was that someone
would know of the sacrifice he made for his country.
