The Warning

ear Journal or whomever it may concern,
This is Zoe Chan, I’m 68.
Half a decade ago, I got myself into a incident that I wasn’t supposed to mingle with, now the
future has changed.
Whoever finds this and reads this will be cursed immediately and this curse will not be lifted
until this notebook is passed on to another person, if you do wish to know more, then proceed. I don’t want
anyone to be in the same situation as I was. And definitely won’t let anyone make the same mistakes that I did.
Don’t blame me for anything that happens to you, by the time you fully understand this situation, I’d be
dead.
You see, when I was 28, full of life and spirit, I liked, no, I loved going around exploring the world.
Then one day,
I found a letter.
I found this letter in a downtown antique shop, named 'The 7 Wonders', and I saw this piece of lonely
parchment, the letter sitting in a corner. The side of the letter was starting to rot and the paper was tinted yellow.
No one paid any attention to it.
But there was something about this letter that made me so intrigued that I really wanted to know what was
inside the letter.
So I took it home.
And that’s the worst mistake I made.
The letter wasn't typed out; in fact I couldn't find any words on it. Just a blood red seal with a symbol I
didn't recognized there was a crescent moon, 5 stars surrounding it and a sun as the background. When I opened
the letter, it was empty.
It was empty, inside out.
A friend of mine suggested putting some really acidic juice on it, or using those UV light to see if the
words were written in transparent ink.
And I tried it, and it worked.
The words written on the letter were ancient; I doubt anyone can read these. But I managed to recognize it as the
characters people use in the old times.
And to be able to read it was another mistake I made.
Enclosed is a copy of the letter after it was translated:
In an army full of lifeless soldiers,
A lonely man lay in his tomb.
By every stroke of midnight,
These lifeless men will come to life.
Continuing their work they needed to do.
No one knows what they do.
But it has something to do with the sleeping dragon.
To keep the dragon asleep is their job.
If not, total chaos will occur.
And nothing will be left in this land.
Once every 4 years, a sacrifice will be made.
And once every 400 years, the dragon shall awake.
Nothing can stop this feared creature. Unless..
The letter was left unsigned, and no one knows who the letter was for, but for one thing I’m sure is that,
this is all happening in China.
How do I know? Simple, because there’s only one place with lifeless men surrounding a tomb, and that’s the
terracotta army.
The legendary tomb of the Qin Dynasty Emperor.
Obviously, going to the Terracotta army was not a good idea at all.
But I didn’t know, until I realized it.
On the 28th February, 1618, I went to the Terracotta Army. I was in a tour to go around the tomb. I felt chills
down my back as it made me shiver. It was a gut feeling, telling me that going into this place was a really bad
