"
This cargo jet will take about 10 hours or so from Sydney to Xiaoheikou. It's going to land in an
disused airfield half a kilometer from the start," Jack replied.
They attached their iPads to their cars. They also set the time on their dashboards to match with local time in
China.
"
Hey. Won't the hollow be mountain terrain? Oh my gods, we've brought the wrong car," said Jim.
"
Actually, it's all bricked so we should be able to go fast," said Jack. Although quiet, he was an avid car
fan. His Lamborghini said it all. Being the most flamboyant and expensive, it was way better than Eduardo and
Jim's Porsches, according to himself.
"
Okay everyone. Let's get some sleep. We've got some bomb hunt to do," Eduardo said.
They were forced to wake because of the sunshine after the pilot popped the hatch. Quickly their cars
were unloaded and fueled.
2320.
The Trio were standing at the seam. It was already history, being blasted open probably by the
terrorists. Surprisingly, the whole wall didn't collaspe.
"
Turn on the silencer and turn off your lights. We've got plenty from moonlight.
They illuminate the inside softly, getting into the hollow through holes. Roll up your windows so when
you use your radio you're not heard by the terrorists. We're lucky that we all chose black without gloss on our
cars. Ok. Jim, you go first, followed by Jack, and then me," Eduardo said.
And with that, the Trio entered the looming entrance. Once they throttled they could feel the occasional
bumps of the pavement. Their engine was silenced for up until they went to full speed; they simply coasted
along the wall at warping speeds.
2330. "
Slow down," Jim said. They slowed down. Jim got out. He immediately saw the red packages
with a mocking countdown timer. He threw it out as far as possible. It landed in a tree. "Let's go," he said.
They passed the treasure bit. Actually, all that was there was a bit of coins stored on crude shelves
carved into the wall. Jim had already thrown out ten packages and was starting to get bored when he heard
voices. Arguing voices. The Trio stopped to a standstill, for the terrorists were just round the corner literally.
2350.
Eduardo had been onto the phone now for a couple of minutes. The other two signaled furiously
that it was not the time for phone calls. Eduardo held them back. Finally he hung up.
"
I've called the Chinese government and they are now sending some tanks and police force. In the
meanwhile, let's train our guns onto them," he said. So silently they removed their shoes and climbed the ledges
till each of them were hiding in the recesses of the walls, guns trained on the terrorist and his two accomplices.
2358. "
Have you got any bombs left? We could just blast the door open," one said.
"
That will attract attention, you idiot."
"
Shut up."
0000.
All three of them were interrupted by a resounding boom. They looked out the windows. There
was nothing to look except a huge, big hole. Then came an ominous roar. The sound of tanks.
"
Oh my gods!"
"
Shut up."
"
Hands up! We've got three machine guns trained on you," Jim yelled.
The three went white as a sheet. They looked frantically around but they could not spot the Trio just
three feet away from them.
0003.
The solid stone wall, the end bit which the terrorist was trying to bust, fell. The three soon found
them staring at police.
The trio soon jumped down, boarded their cars and went to find their pilot. They found the Premier
there as well, and he congratulated the Trio warmly before letting giving them some medals, food and the way
back.
Jim woke up. The movie was over, and so was the popcorn, scattered all over his shirt. So it was all a
dream.
Jim's mobile rang.
"
Hello?"
"
It's Eduardo. Ice Cream."
