aku! Haku!” A soft sweet voice called. “Let’s play!” A little laughter filled the grassy meadow,
the sunlight bright and gleaming made the background very bright and relaxing. “Ha ha you
can’t catch me,” the girl taunted a boy to play a game.
“
Sen I want to climb that wall one day,” said the boy.“ I want to be a king!”
The boy turned to the girl and said, “I must go now Sen, and will we meet again?”
The girl held the boy’s hands and said, “I will forever stay with you,” a grin showed on her face and she said,
“
and you will be my one and only king.” Then she touched the boy’s chest and a blue light burst out, in the
boy’s eyes the light made seeing hard and the girl faded away.
Bang! The teacher came over and woke a student. Haku Sentiel, a 16-year-old boy glared at the 35 year
old teacher.
“
This is the second time today!” said the man.
Haku replied “Then don’t wake me up, what’s your problem anyway?”
In a rage the man said, “My problem is that I gave you a chance to stay in this class! To detention with you.”
On the way up to detention, Haku was thinking about the girl in his dream. “Sen? I wonder who she is,”
muttered Haku, “The wall looks like a castle, I want to climb that wall and take a good look at the four
kingdoms” When Haku got to the room he saw his friend Jace. The two boys chatted until lunch break when
they left school and went to the park, also known as their hangout place. Lying down on the grass Jace sighed,
“
Is our life really just like this? School, work, marriage, children, grandchildren and to the coffin?”
Haku said, “Before I go there I want to be a king,” The two friends laughed and cheered on the
background similar to his dream.
Suddenly the grass moved very violently, almost as if the grass wanted to move off the ground. Haku
stepped back and out of nowhere, a huge wing blew, pushing them both into the hole-like grass. Thump! Haku
slowly opened his eyes and found him self somewhere not on the same grass. He saw a man with a bearskin coat
and around him were men in armor from the ancient times. When Haku stood up the nearest man on his right
jabbed a spear next to his neck.
“
Stop right there!” shouted an unknown voice, “Back off men do you know who he is?” Then men with
weapons backed off. Out of the crowd a girl dressed as a noble walked out.
“
Haku?” called the princess.
“
Yes I am but who are you?” replied Haku.
“
Sen Harufield,” answered the young lady, “Perhaps I look different in your dreams.”
“
Where am I?” asked Haku, looking around. He saw hairy people dressed in ancient times
“
We’re in Mongolia if you remember,” said Sen.
“
What? We’re in Mongolia, how did that happen?” cried Haku.
“
Sorry for summoning you again king but we’re in danger again?” explained Sen. “Come with me, I’m
going to restore your memory to you,” A few hours later this happened…
“
Sen-Chan how is the alliance holding against the dragon emperor?” asked King Haku.
“
We’re lost contact with the
mistress of the deserts, the duke of the mountains is in his hideout waiting for your return, and the king of the
wind is waiting for you in the next room.”
“
Good I’m going to fix the alliance, and shut the dragon’s mouth once and for all!” An hour later Haku
and Jace prepare to enter the desert next door. “The city of Gald sure is silent!” said Jace.
“
Yes it is nothing like that, maybe Marina is in trouble,” claimed Haku. When the two kings stood in the
front of the castle door a fireball crashed down on Haku’s foot. Quickly Haku uses his powers to put it out. They
both hurried in side the castle. In the castle of the desert ruler, inside was full of salamanders the familiars of the
emperor’s son Prince Dracken. On the seat of the royal throne he sat and on the cage next to the chair was the
mistress of the sand Marina. “Haku don’t come it’s a trap,” she called. But Haku didn’t care and claimed that he
would be okay.
“
Very well grass king, I shall burn all of these evergreens on you,” laughed the prince. Then the prince
charged at Haku.
While Prince Dracken and Haku were fighting Jace took the desert mistress outside the castle and used
his powers to make a seal on the gate.
“
Haku, what a scene you’ve got here, did you know you just crashed my wedding?” said Dracken.
