Great Wall Space Adventure

nce upon a time, an alien from Mars was having a space adventure in his spaceship and he flew
across Earth. He spotted a long bridge made with stone and bricks that stretched from east to west.
The alien thought to himself: “This bridge looks awesome! Let me get closer to take a look.” He
landed and met some Chinese people. The Chinese people told the alien this was the Great Wall in
China, built to protect the Chinese Empire. The alien said, “Really? The Great Wall looks old. How
can it protect the Empire? I can destroy it easily with my touch.” With his super power, the alien touched the
Great Wall and the bricks burnt in fire. The Chinese people begged the alien not to destroy the Great Wall, but
the alien would not listen. He had fun burning down the Great Wall. Suddenly, four dragons arrived; Amazon
the green dragon, Nile the red dragon, Danube the purple dragon, and Yangtze the yellow dragon. Amazon told
the alien: “You need to be gentle, to listen and be kind.” The alien said, “I do not want to listen to you. I enjoy
burning down the Great Wall!” Yangtze said, “Would you like people to burn down your property?” The four
dragons then blew out fire on the alien’s spaceship. The alien cried: “Please stop! Without the spaceship I
cannot go back to Mars!” Nile told the alien: “We are teaching you three golden rules today. Be gentle; be kind
and helpful; and to listen. Then people will like you and be your friends.” The alien nodded, and helped the
Chinese people to rebuild the Great Wall. When he finished, he said goodbye to the Chinese people and the
dragons. Danube said, “Don’t forget to share the golden rules with the people in Mars!” The alien smiled and
replied, “I will sure do that. Thank you!”
