long time ago, there were two groups of rival armies. The army which was then occupying the
e we call China was called the Empire. They followed an imperial system.
he imperials enemy was called the Rebels. They didn’t have an actual army name, and as they
fought against an Empire, they were called: the Rebels.
T
They had been quarrelling for centuries ever since China was unified by Emperor Qin. The Rebels sometimes
managed to push back the imperials, but the imperials never stayed in exile. If they were exiled, they would
gather forces in the outer boundaries of China. Whey they had enough forces to pack an attack with enough
momentum, well, they attacked. And they would drive the Rebels out of China. This kept repeating and
repeating and repeating.
There was one battle which made difference, the Rebels were finally driven so far west that they fled to the
western countries. Though the battle was never really known, the author of this story had based on testimony
and evidence.
“
Retreat!”
“
Attack!”
“
Charge!”
The air was filled with cries. The imperials commander Li-jiang sat atop his armoured black stallion. In full
battle armour coated with blood, face set as he surveyed the scene, diamond sword at his side and scythe in his
hand.
But the rebel leader was just as scary. Blooded battle armour with pieces hacked and loosen, helmet in his
hand, Sword of Stars in his right hand and perched atop his pegasi, the imperial troops were afraid to be even in
his right.
The two generals rode their horses and faced each other. If the imperials commander was slashed up, getting
China back for endless times which might not be easy.
If the rebel general was killed, beating the Rebels would be as easy as sitting down on a chair. The Rebels
said first, “Your cause is lost! If you continue your struggle, you’ll only be killed. Give up! We’ll spare your
lives!”
Imperials yelled, “Not in your life. I’d rather die than surrender to scum like you!”
“
You leave me no choice.”
“
Then we shall fight.”
The two enemies circled each other on foot, the Rebels holding the Sword of Stars, while the Imperials
wielding his Death-scythe. The Rebels attacked first, using the sword to slice in a downwards arc. The imperials
blocked it with the shaft of the scythe. After blocking, he swung his scythe outwards in a deadly arc from right
to left. The Rebels blocked the slash. Sparks flew as Ather steel clashed against Nether diamond. The Rebels
jabbed at the Imperials and glanced at a blow on the armour. An ugly cheer rose from the Rebel’s troops. But as
the Rebels gloated at the success, the Imperials dropped on the ground and fainted to the left and flipped the
scythe so the sharp paint was up and slashed upwards. The move caught the Rebels by surprise. As the rebel
leader was killed, the Rebels fled. The Imperials charged up the Great Wall and fired sparkling arrows at the
fleeing Rebels.
The bloodshed still covered on the slab stones. Marks were remained on the blocks. These momentums have
all turned into part of the human history.
