Well, ‘Mister Adventure, we would just like to get our camera back and leave.” Janet said
sarcastically.
Claire sobbed in a corner for she felt like the camera was part of her family and she might not see it
ever again. She collapsed onto a rock and the wall moved! Claire sprang to her feet with joy and wiped away her
tears.
The cave appeared to be a tunnel designed by skilled men. “I wonder why the cave wasn’t so smooth
and nice from the entrance. I mean it was already hidden so why not.” Claire thought aloud.
We’re here!” Tye exclaimed pointing to a gigantic room.
If you’re wondering what all this stuff is, it is Ancient Chinese artifacts. We’re the only ones who know about
this! Take what you want!” The girls started shoveling everything from ancient coins to dull weapons into their
bags and pockets.
As Janet turned around she couldn’t find Tye. She did find however, her camera with a note saying
You’re welcome!
’.
He did stay true to his word,” Janet thought. Claire was still busy stuffing things in her
bag until she noticed Tye’s disappearance.
Once the girls had all the artifacts, they smuggled it back to their hotel where they filled their suitcases.
The next day, they boarded a flight home. Janet and Claire had millions of dollars worth of Ancient Chinese
artifacts and opened a little museum putting their town on the map and sold many pictures of their adventure.”
Mr. Greenwood looked up and noticed all the boys had fallen asleep.
Looking at his antique Chinese pocket watch, Mr. Greenwood said, “I think I might go to bed myself.”
