A hero now, Robert returned to the place where Bao Ling was and told her the good news. She was so
happy that the valley would now be peaceful and her family and friends would not have to work on the wall
anymore. She was very grateful to Robert and gave him her jade pin to thank him. Before he could ask her how
to return home, he found himself at the same spot at the Great Wall where he had fallen asleep. A man came up
to him and said, “Hey there, mister would you like photograph of the wall behind you, very cheap price, only 50
Yuan!” He realised then that he was back in present time. But Bao Ling and the emperor seemed so real!
Robert said to himself, “Oh well. I must have been dreaming because I am so excited to finally see the
wonderful Great Wall of China.” He posed for the camera, but when he put his hand in his trouser pocket to
look for the money, he found a jade pin.
