How the Great Wall was Created

n the age before man, dragons ruled. Dragons were made to find their meaning on earth. Dragons turned
into trees, coal, rivers and other natural resources. All dragons became something but one, Nicky. His
problem was he couldn’t find his meaning of life.

There were other animals including cats, turtles, snakes, rats and monkeys. Nicky’s adviser was a cat
apphire and his friend was a snake named Rawjer. Sapphire was smart. Rawjer was sneaky. There was
an evil rat named King Sire who ruled an army of rats and monkeys. King Sire was very smart and was making
this potion which could turn him and all his army of rats and monkeys into a gigantic monster called a ratkey.

One morning, when Rawjer was on his morning slither, he came across a group of monkeys talking about
this potion. Rawjer heard everything. Suddenly he had an idea; maybe this was Nicky’s chance to find his
purpose. He went home and told Nicky and Sapphire. “What am I supposed to do?” Nicky said.
Sapphire told Nicky, “Well maybe you could try attacking the rats and monkey’s lab? Or you could try to
separate the rats and monkeys to stop them from making a ratkey.”
So the next morning, Nicky tried to destroy the rat and monkey’s lab with his own strength and power, but
he failed. The next day King Sire tested the liquid on the rats and monkeys. At first they got smaller, the next try
they got skinnier. On the third try they grew taller. The fourth time, they grew bigger and as they touched each
other they merged together. The ratkey was born and it became a natural resource consuming monster.
With encouragement from his friends, Nicky finally got the courage to fly into the middle of the ratkey
separating the monkeys and rats. Nicky became a great wall keeping them separated forever. The rats and
monkeys became human. This was how the last dragon found his purpose in becoming the Great Wall of China.
