New Tales of the Great Wall
Pang Lok Ching, Group 2: Fiction, North Point Methodist Primary School
have a mission. It is called “A Mystery of The Great Wall”. I have to find out a treasure in the Great
Wall . This adventure is very dangerous .So ,I would pack up my backpack very carefully .I would bring a
lot of bottle of water , a lot of biscuit,and some chocolates .

When I got to the Great Wall .I followed the map of the treasure and walk a whole day . Then , my
my was very hungry so I ate some biscuit and drank some water .I slept a while and keep going to the
e of the treasure.
The next day,I found a woman.She asked me,“What are you doing here ?This is a place for the tiny
people .If you do not what to have troubles ,please go away!”So , I explaned to her politely,“I am a detective.I
wanted to found out a treasure in the Great Wall.”“Oh !Sorry ,I forgot that today we will have a visiter . Sorry
about that ! ”The woman felt very sorry , so she brought me to the Museum of The Treasure .

First , she taught a lot of story about the treasure .Then ,she taught a poem : Where is the treasure ?In the
Volcano .I asked her ,“ Where is the volcano?” Then , she said that I need to find out by myself . After that, she
asked me ,“ How old are you?”I replied her ,“ I am 25 years old .”“Ok , you can pass the task.”The woman said .
After I visit this museum ,I go on my adventure.
I was very happy that the woman taught me a lot but I need to keep on going to look for the treasure .So , I
left the museum and followed the map to found out the treasure.
Four hours later , I found the place of the treasure but I need to finish five challenge .
First, I need to reply a monkey’s question. It said, “ Meloki qua qua qua ki? ”I cannot understand what is
the monkey was saying about. Suddenly, I remembered the woman said that the the the ... VOLCANO! So, I
look for a volcano. Then, I found it. I ran to the volcano as fast as I could. I found a translate fairy.She said,
“
What do I need to help you? ”I reply her hopefully, “Can you help me to translate what is the monkey is saying
about? ”“Of course I can absolutely help you but I have a condition, it is you just can ask me three question. Is it
ok? ”“ Ok! ”I said confidently.
We got back to the place of the treasure. The monkey asked again, “Meloki qua qua qua ki? ”Then the fairy
said, “ How old are you?”“ twenty five years old, ”I said. So, the monkey let me to go to the second part of the
task.
Second, I met a girl that she was going to past the task with me. That task was we need to get on with each
other and be friends. I tried to say a hello to her but she was very rude. She did not say a hi or hello to me but
she kick me. And, she said that she hates me. I thought, I hate you too! Then, I asked the fairy,“ How can I be a
friend with that rude girl? ”The fairy replied me, “ Fight with her. ”I just can listen to the fairy, so I fought with
her. A miracle was born, she said that we are good friends forever. I felt so preposterous. Why we cannot talk but
fight? But we have to go on our level 3.
Third, we need to built a model of the Great Wall. We thought that was very easy but is isn’t. It is very
difficult because we cannot staple it. “ Oh! I have an idea. We can dissolve these chocolate to staple the
model.Quick! Let’s do it! ”We staple and staple , we totally use 2 hours to made that model. Finally, we can go
to level 4.
In Level 4, we need to answer the question of the Great Wall. The first question was, Where is The Great
Wall? That rude girl, Kayla said that is was Beijing. That answer was correct. The second question was, who
order to built the Great Wall? I answered, Qin Shi Huang. This answer was correct too. So, we can past the level
4.
In level 5, we need to take a photo of The Great Wall with us but that photo we need to take by ourselves.
We do not know how to do, we just take a photo of The Great Wall with no us. This time, we are wrong. They
give us one more chance. The fairy told us secretly, “ You can do with the computer, ”So, first, we take a photo
of The Great Wall. Then, we take a picture of us and chopped our photo’s head off and Paste our heads on it.
Lastly ,we did it! We past the task, we can get the treasure but a man came out and said,“ You two did a very
good job but that treasure wasn’t money or jewerery because that treasure was experience and knowledge. This
week you have learned a lot of things, right? ”“ Yes because I have learned a lot of things about the The Great
Wall and China’s history! ”I said happily. Kayla said,“ Metoo!”
This mission, “A Mystery of The Great Wall”,I have learned a lot of things! This The Great Wall adventure
was very Benefited!
