On the way, to finding out the answer, there were some mummies coming out from the foot of
Great Wall. The mummies started to walk towards the archaeologist. He heard some noise which
ded like “Haaa” and smelt rotting flesh. He was so thrilled that ran away immediately. The
mies wanted to eat him and chased behind him. Soon he found a wormhole.
He had no time to think but to jump into the wormhole. It took him back to the Chin Emperor’s palace. One
of the soldiers discovered him. They grabbed and threw him into the jail. What a poor man!

Anyway, he heard that the Chin Emperor was connecting and building the fortifications built by
surrounding countries, he called up 200,000 able-bodied men. However, almost half of them died during the
torturous and hard physical work. The Emperor was very angry and worried of not enough man power to
continue his magnificent project.
The archeologist had an idea. He whispered to the soldiers that they could have work shifts. Workers could
have one day off after 5 days work. They could have a half hour rest, after 3 hours work. High-crab meals
should be provided to the men, so the death rate of the workers would drop, because of improved working
conditions.
Ultimately, the death rate of workers fell. At last, the Emperor released the archeologist and gave him some
gold as reward. He also asked if there was any treasure buried under the Great Wall. The Emperor replied, “No,
but there were many dead bodies, do you mind to be one of them?” “No, your majesty, just kidding!”
The archeologist fled. He felt so lucky that he could go home alive. He went back and jump into the worm
hole. He realized that those mummies were those dead workers. There were so miserable!
