Okay” Yelled Simon, they were going to the Great Wall of China!
They felt a strange feeling, which Skye had never experienced; going to the Great Wall of
na is their most exciting and adventure. At seven in the morning, though it was early,
oved around trying to take pictures because the views there were breath-taking, so they
could not stop taking photos.

While walking Simon realized there was a small hole on the ground of the Great Wall and he called Skye to
look at the hole. “Cool, “gasped Skye, “what do we do?”Asked Skye.
“
I have a rope we’ll climb down when everyone wasn’t noticing,” said Simon and they agreed , so Simon
swung his rope and both of them went down the rope as quickly as they could and landed near the hole, they
took out their touches and walked inside, it was a dark tunnel.
After about one hour, a piece of never ending grassland was lying in front of Simon and Skye “Is this
Mongolia?” asked Skye confusingly. There were grassland with sheep and horses and funny houses, inside the
houses there were people wearing funny clothes that normally Chinese People wouldn’t wear. The houses were
white and round like the buns from china. A small house and a bolder were next to the tunnel. “Why the tunnel
was so close to this house?” asked Simon.
“
Bang” the sound echoed between among the houses. “What was that!!!?” Simon went to the tunnel. “A big
stone had blocked it!!!!” Gasped Simon, both of them turned and saw the button on the stone. Skye pressed it. A
sliver block of metal came drifting up. “What is this?” wondered Skye.
“
It’s a time machine” said Simon enthusiastically, “Let’s see how was the Great Wall of China was like in
the olden times.”
“
Okay” cried Skye happily, a old brown book lay at the edge of the cave, Skye picked it up, that time Simon
was pressing a red button, both of them sucked into a swirl.
“
Whoosh” the time machine landed at grassland it looked like the one that they found just now; in fact it
was really the one that they found, the houses, the animals and the plants!
Simon checked the time on the time machine, Skye blew the dust away, and golden words appeared

Brother, we have a mission!” cried Skye anxiously

What is it?” Asked Simon
“
Mission 1, the boy with black spiky hair is called Ming a Chinese boy; he had a friend called Tejin, a
Mongolian boy. Your mission, Skye and Simon! Find out what happened to them.” Skye read surprisingly
“
Well let’s go!” yelled Simon happily.
Ming and Tejin were playing wooden horses, wooden toy swords and playing racing with different insects,
like crickets. Simon wrote “Ming and Tejin playing toy horses, toy swords and racing”. Skye and Simon also
realized that Ming sometimes went to Tejin’s home and Tejin sometimes went to Ming’s home.
Later came skinny and weak slaves, on their bended backs were building bricks. They were laying the
bricks between Ming and Tejin’s homes. The mean generals used their wicked whips to make the slaves work
continuously. And then the wicked generals turned to Ming and Tejin and scolded them. Ming and Tejin ran to
their homes promising one day they would meet up and play.
Just as Skye and Simon wanted to find more about the slaves, Ming and Tejin, both of them were sucked
into the time machine again.
Handing the book to Simon, Simon read “Mission 2, you’re nearly there, this is the time when the great wall
of china finished building, what will happen to Ming and Tejin?”
“
Let’s check” said Skye, she has extremely excited, she was so happy she might even explode! They saw
Ming alone, looking miserable, he couldn’t play with Tejin and so was Tejin. Then Ming got a brilliant idea: he
would dig a secret tunnel under the Great Wall. That night Ming started digging, and every night he dug, from
winter to spring, he did not stop digging. One night, Ming heard digging sound from other side, and Tejin was
digging too, and finally they met in the tunnel. Both of them looked at each other, grinned and cuddled. Now
they could meet each other and played games whenever they wanted.
Simon wrote “wall built, Ming and Tejin sad, then dug a tunnel, and finally played together”
