all along the Great Wall from his head to his tail and he gently pushed down on it and sunk gradually into the
wall. This repaired and strengthened the wall but left behind only Yang Long’s spirit, imprisoned inside the
Great Wall. When the enemy got there they couldn’t get in. They tried breaking it but they couldn’t, the Great
Wall was too strong.
That is why the Great Wall looks like a dragon. And even now if you put your ear to the stones of the Great
Wall and listen very carefully you can just hear Yang Long whispering over and over again, “Are they gone? Is
it over? Can I come out?”
