sneered the evil monkey. He was wearing a purple silk coat and was brandishing a golden staff.
“
Yes, yes we did. And we still can!” yelled Xing Long. All three dragons charged forwards and knocked a
screeching Huai Hou over to the other side of the Great Wall and down a steep cliff.
The siblings descended onto the banks of the river. The jade were there, in a pile, sparkling beautifully. “I
think we should leave the jade here. They make this place special. This is where legends and myths become
reality,” declared Lily. Leo and Louise, speechless with awe, could only nod. Shui Long unfurled her long body
and picked up the topmost jade in her jaws. Lily gasped.
“
It’s the Jade of Truth,” Lily exclaimed. Looking in it, she saw a brave and noble warrior. “It is true. The
three of you are brave and of noble hearts,” said Xing Long. “Now we must go. We wish you eternal luck,
though I think that will come naturally to the three of you. Farewell and good luck,” said Xing Long as the three
dragons disappeared away into the woods.
